Lauren Hayden is a board-certified holistic nutrition professional, applied kinesiologist, clinical homeopathic specialist, and functional wellness mentor with over 25 years of experience coaching individuals toward vibrant, sustainable health. Her work blends functional medicine, energy medicine, detoxification, nutrition therapy, and emotional balance practices to help clients uncover root causes rather than chase symptoms.
Professional Philosophy

Early Life & Career Roots
Lauren grew up in New Jersey with five siblings, immersed in the natural world and athletics from childhood. She later worked as a research analyst in alternative energy — advocating for clean and sustainable solutions — before transitioning into wellness through her work as a tennis professional and conditioning coach.
Her turning point came after a diagnosis of osteoporosis in her 40s, accompanied by persistent digestive and neurological issues. Determined to heal without pharmaceuticals, Lauren began studying alternative and functional medicine. Through mentorship, research, and practical application, she transformed her own health — a journey that ultimately inspired the creation of Live Well.
Personal Life
Lauren lives in Fairfax, Virginia with her husband Bob. She is a proud mother of three and grandmother of two. Her passions include tennis, hiking, swimming, yoga, strength training, myofascial release, and holistic cooking.
She continues to lecture, mentor, and write, supporting practitioners and clients seeking advanced training in functional medicine and holistic healing.
