Additional Information

Homeopathic Indications: LYM:Combination is for the temporary relief of symptoms related to Lyme disease or other co-infections including joint pain, severe headaches, fever, severe muscle aches/pain, flu-like feelings of headache, stiff neck, muscle aches, and change in smell/taste, difficulty chewing, swallowing or speaking, hoarseness of vocal cord problems.

Why LYM:Combination?

A co-infection is the simultaneous infection of a host with multiple pathogenic organisms. Polymicrobial/ polyviral conditions represent some of the most challenging infectious states to handle.1 Patients with co-infections may often experience more severe symptoms as well as impaired recovery.

LYM:Combination is the ideal formula for patients in temporarily relieving symptoms of multiple Lyme-related infections. It can be used alongside the BOBA:SSR Kits or as a stand-alone product for temporary relief of co-infection discomforts.

Co-Infections and Lyme Disease

A recently published survey of over 3,000 patients with Lyme disease found that over 50% presented with coinfections with 30% reporting two or more. The most common coinfections were Babesia (32%), Bartonella (28%), Ehrlichia (15%), Mycoplasma (15%), Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (6%), Anaplasma (5%), and Tularemia (1%).2 Co-infecting agents may be transmitted together by the original tick bite or mode of transmission or may also occur independently. The pathological synergism that occurs in a co-infection state can exacerbate symptoms and induce additional disease pathology. Additional pathogens can also further modulate the immune system, resulting in resistance to therapy and support strategies.3
